As the energy initiative continues to cut down on energy consumption, some problems can turn into long term projects as a solution is sought. During the winter months, the loading docks on the direction side of the building are often a source of frustration for school administrators and energy coordinator Tim Sturgeon. The indoor temperatures may have some students scheming to build small hand-warming fires with their number twos or others dreaming of spring break earlier than usual, while shivering during block three. No, it’s not all a plot cooked up by the administration to enforce the dress code or just a petty money-saving tactic; it’s the energy initiative. Boys grab victory over Huskies on professional court

The Miller boys’ basketball team battled in a thrilling game against the Hamilton Heights Huskies on Dec. 27 at Conseco Fieldhouse, the home of the state’s lone NBA franchise, the Indiana Pacers, during the fourth game of the Ivy Tech Holiday Classic. Noblesville came out triumphant with a 63-54 win over the Huskies. This was the second event for the Noblesville High School athletics at a professional arena this school year, the first being the football team’s loss to Fishers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Aug. Dog is man’s best friend, or so the story goes. It takes a special canine to become more than that; a best friend to a family, a community, and perhaps even a world. A dog like Marley, whose fame arose from John Grogan’s hilarious and heartwarming autobiography Marley and Me, seems to fit perfectly into that category, despite his devilish antics that wreak havoc on the Grogan family.
