Mill Stream: Why did you join the improv team?
Taryn Parker: I joined last year off a whim and was put back on the team this year.

MS: What do you enjoy the most about the team?
TP: The practices right before the shows. They’re always the most fun.
MS: Do you get nervous during the shows?
TP: I got nervous the first time, but not really any more.
MS: How have you improved while being on the team?
TP: With practice I’ve gotten more confidence performing and learned how to play the different games. My skills interatcting with the audience have gotten better, too.
MS: Describe your teammates.
TP: Very spontaneous. There’s so many different types of people from many standings in the social ladder. It’s [the team] is just us being kids, allowing us to express ourselves without conforming.
