All-nighters are all right

I pulled an all-nighter for the first time last year while writing my junior research paper, and I dare say I pulled it rather badly. After consuming an energy drink, a pot of coffee, and a full two cups of the dreaded tea-coffee concoction (three tea bags brewed in a cup of strong coffee), I fainted. And fell. Hard. Don’t judge a book by its cover

When I picked up the girl who stopped swimming, I thought it was going to be one of those books in which a competitive athlete (in this case a swimmer) gets injured, and a the rest of the plot revolves around the girl’s emotional woes as she sits on the sidelines, watching her team go on without her. This was not the case at all. I could tell that from the very first line—“Until the drowned girl came to Laurel’s bedroom, ghosts had never walked in Victorianna.” So if you expect a clichéd sports novel, you are not going to find it here. Freshmen football kicks off

After failing to score, Collin Davis punted the ball. Davis is a tight end and a line backer. The teams huddled to discuss the plays. The freshmen played hard but suffered an unfortunate loss. The freshmen team collaborated about the the game against Fishers. There are 56 players on the freshman team. The freshmen football team played Fishers in the first game of the season. Fishers defeated the Millers. The freshmen battled it out against Fishers in the first game of the season. Fishers fought hard and successfully defeated the Millers.
