The Noblesville Schools administration did not stand a chance against the famous Harlem Wizards’ basketball team. On Feb. 21 the gym was packed with spectators waiting to see the stunts and tricks of the Wizards. The administration lost a hard fought battle coming up just short of the Wizards. Teachers and principals from every school came out to play and cheer with a crowd packed with Noblesville students of all ages. Pink jerseys. That is what the members of the girls varsity basketball team wore to support breast cancer awareness during one of their first home games of the season against Westfield. On the other hand, the boys varsity team, in traditional black and gold, had the opportunity to face off against North Central. Regardless of the cause, each team had a goal in mind. Some students make straight As and get into top ten percent, while others focus on making their grades meet the same level as their athletism. Working hard on and off the court are, the only way they feel that their goals will be achieved. Sports are a main revenue that many students get into college. A definite blow, but the Super Bowl presses forward. Grooms is still proud of her Colts for making it to the playoffs though. Many Americans seem to be taken over by football fever as the winter months lead up to the upcoming Superbowl. For football coach Lance Scheib, this season has more in store than a televised game. Chosen to be a coach for the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the football season presented Scheib with a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Boys’ varsity soccer is stopped short by Cathedral

The boys’ varsity soccer teams kicked up the intensity for regionals but was defeated by Cathedral on Wednesday, October 13th with a losing score of 2-1. The Millers faced off at North Central. Sophomore Cam Krivoshia, who was a starter in almost every regular season game, was not expecting the loss. “We were all really pumped, and I thought we had a pretty good chance of getting to semi-state,” said Krivoshia.
